Supplier Code of Conduct

This Code sets out the standards that Onesta Food and Beverage Limited (Onesta) expects of its suppliers, service providers, contractors, and their subcontractors (collectively, Suppliers) when supplying goods or services to Onesta.

1. Application

This Code applies to all Suppliers and forms part of every supply arrangement with Onesta. Suppliers shall communicate the principles of this Code to their own employees and supply chain and shall act consistently with them.

2. Legal compliance

Suppliers shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate, including laws governing labour, health and safety, environment, product safety, competition, anti-bribery, taxation, customs, and data protection.

3. Labour and human rights

  • Employment is freely chosen. Suppliers shall not use forced, bonded, indentured, trafficked, or involuntary labour.
  • Suppliers shall not employ child labour. Minimum age requirements shall comply with applicable law and ILO standards.
  • Wages, benefits, and working hours shall comply with applicable law and applicable collective agreements.
  • Workers shall be treated with dignity and respect. Harassment, abuse, and discrimination are prohibited.
  • Workers shall have the right to associate freely and to bargain collectively in accordance with applicable law.

4. Health and safety

Suppliers shall provide a safe and healthy working environment, including appropriate training, protective equipment, and emergency arrangements. Hazards shall be identified, assessed, and controlled.

5. Environment

Suppliers shall hold and comply with required environmental permits. Suppliers shall manage emissions, effluents, waste, and resource use in accordance with applicable law and shall work to reduce environmental impact over time.

6. Food safety and quality

Suppliers of food-contact materials, ingredients, packaging, and related services shall maintain food-safety controls appropriate to the risk of the materials or services supplied. Suppliers shall provide accurate technical documentation, certificates of analysis where applicable, and shall promptly notify Onesta of any change that may affect product safety, quality, regulatory compliance, or supply continuity.

7. Business ethics

  • Suppliers shall not offer, give, request, or accept bribes or improper advantages of any kind.
  • Suppliers shall avoid conflicts of interest and shall disclose any actual or potential conflict.
  • Suppliers shall maintain accurate books and records and shall not engage in fraud or money laundering.
  • Suppliers shall respect Onesta's confidential information and intellectual property.
  • Suppliers shall comply with applicable trade controls and sanctions.

8. Data protection

Suppliers that process personal data on behalf of Onesta shall do so only on documented instructions, shall implement appropriate security measures, and shall comply with applicable data-protection law.

9. Subcontracting

Suppliers shall not subcontract material elements of supply without Onesta's prior written consent and shall ensure that any approved subcontractor complies with this Code.

10. Audit and remediation

Onesta or its authorised representatives may audit Suppliers' compliance with this Code. Suppliers shall cooperate with audits and shall remediate findings within agreed timeframes. Material or repeated non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of the supply arrangement.

11. Reporting concerns

Suppliers and their workers may report concerns about possible breaches of this Code to ethics@onestabd.com. Concerns may be raised confidentially. Onesta does not tolerate retaliation against any person who reports a concern in good faith.
