Quality and food safety
Control sits in the process, not at the end of it.
Materials are approved before use, checks run as the batch runs, and finished stock is held until the record and the results agree. A pack can be traced back to the materials it was made from.

Supplier and material controls
Suppliers are approved before use and materials are bought against a written specification.

Incoming inspection
Consignments are checked on arrival. Material that fails is rejected or quarantined, never used pending a decision.

Process controls
Defined checks at defined points through preparation, processing and packing, recorded as the batch runs.

Laboratory testing
Samples are tested against product criteria. Retained samples are held for the life of the batch.

Traceability
Batch coding links finished packs back through processing to the materials and suppliers used.

Finished product release
Stock is released only when the batch record and test results are complete and within specification.

Responsible operations
The parts of this we actually control.
Water, energy, effluent, waste and packaging are managed as operating conditions of the plant. We publish what we can support and nothing we cannot.
Our approach to responsible operations
- Water
- Water is treated on site before use in production and is managed as a production input, not an unlimited resource. Consumption is monitored at plant level.
- Energy
- Electricity and thermal energy are monitored against production. Equipment maintenance and scheduling are the main levers we control day to day.
- Effluent
- Process effluent is handled through the site's treatment arrangements and discharged in line with the conditions that apply to the facility.
- Waste
- Production and packaging waste is segregated at source. Recoverable material is routed to recycling channels where they exist locally.

A manufacturer with two working addresses.
Onesta Food and Beverage Limited manufactures packaged food and beverage products in Bangladesh. Production runs at the Gazipur facility; commercial and corporate functions are based in Dhaka.
The Dhaka office handles customers, procurement, finance and corporate matters. Gazipur runs production, quality control, warehousing and dispatch. Work moves between the two daily, and both answer to the same specification.
