Water, energy, effluent, waste and packaging are managed as operating conditions of the plant, with the same records as production.
Environment
Six operating topics.
Each is tied to an activity that happens on site every production day, not to a target set elsewhere.
- Water
- Water is treated on site before use in production and is managed as a production input, not an unlimited resource. Consumption is monitored at plant level.
- Energy
- Electricity and thermal energy are monitored against production. Equipment maintenance and scheduling are the main levers we control day to day.
- Effluent
- Process effluent is handled through the site's treatment arrangements and discharged in line with the conditions that apply to the facility.
- Waste
- Production and packaging waste is segregated at source. Recoverable material is routed to recycling channels where they exist locally.
- Packaging
- Pack specifications are reviewed for material use alongside the protection the product actually needs. Shelf life and food safety set the floor.
- Compliance
- Environmental obligations attached to the site are treated as operating conditions of the plant, tracked with the same records as production.
People and conduct.
The operation depends on the people running it and the suppliers feeding it. Both are held to written standards.
- Safety
- Site safety rules apply to employees, contractors and visitors. Training is recorded and access to production areas is controlled.
- Employment
- Terms are set in writing. Working hours, wages and leave follow the labour law applicable in Bangladesh.
- Supply chain
- Suppliers are held to the Supplier Code of Conduct, covering labour standards, safety and lawful operation.
- Reporting
- Concerns can be raised under the Whistleblower Policy without retaliation for raising them in good faith.
On published figures.
We publish what we can support. Where a figure would need verified measurement across a full reporting period, we do not estimate one; the reporting structure on this page is built so real data can be added as it is confirmed.
Where a customer or an authority requires environmental data for the site, it is supplied directly against the scope requested, with the measurement basis stated.
