Quality Policy
Onesta Food and Beverage Limited (Onesta) operates a quality management system that supports the production of products meeting agreed specifications and applicable regulations.
1. Quality principles
- Define product specifications in writing and produce against those specifications.
- Apply controls at each stage of production, from raw-material approval to finished-product release.
- Use qualified suppliers and approved raw materials and packaging.
- Maintain calibrated measuring and test equipment.
- Record results and decisions and retain records for the periods required by law and internal procedure.
- Investigate complaints and non-conformances; implement and verify corrective action.
- Review performance against objectives and improve the system.
2. Quality objectives
Quality objectives are established annually by management and cover finished-product compliance, customer-complaint rates, in-process performance, supplier performance, and audit findings. Objectives are measurable and reviewed at planned intervals.
3. Management responsibility
The Managing Director endorses this policy and provides resources for its implementation. The Head of Quality is responsible for the quality management system. Department heads are responsible for quality within their functions.
4. Customer specifications
Customer-specific requirements are reviewed before order acceptance and are translated into internal specifications. Changes to customer requirements are managed through change control.
5. Complaints handling
Customer complaints are logged and acknowledged within a defined timeframe. Investigation includes review of production records, retained samples where applicable, and supplier records. Corrective action is implemented and tracked to closure.
6. Internal audit
Internal audits cover the quality management system on a planned schedule. Findings are recorded, prioritised, and addressed within defined timeframes.
7. Continual improvement
Data from audits, complaints, non-conformances, supplier performance, and management review are used to identify and implement improvements to processes, products, and the management system.
