Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

1. Our position

Modern slavery, including forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, and human trafficking, is unacceptable. Onesta does not tolerate such practices in its operations or in the operations of any party from which it sources goods or services.

2. Organisation and supply chain

Onesta manufactures food and beverage products at its facility in Gazipur, Bangladesh, and operates corporate functions from its head office in Dhaka. The supply chain includes producers and processors of agricultural raw materials, manufacturers of packaging, providers of ingredients, logistics providers, and providers of indirect goods and services.

3. Policies

The following policies set out the standards expected of Onesta personnel and counterparties in relation to modern slavery:

• The Whistleblower Policy.
• Internal human-resources policies covering recruitment, working hours, wages, and grievance handling.

4. Due diligence

Onesta seeks to identify, prevent, and mitigate modern slavery risks through:

• Pre-engagement assessment of new suppliers using a risk-based approach.
• Contractual commitments aligned to the Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Periodic review of higher-risk suppliers, including site visits where appropriate.
• Investigation of any credible concern raised internally or externally.

5. Risk areas

Onesta has identified higher-risk areas as raw-material categories sourced from regions with documented labour risks, low-skilled labour categories in extended supply chains, and labour provided by third-party agencies. Controls are focused on these areas.

6. Training

Personnel in procurement, human resources, operations, and audit roles receive guidance on modern-slavery risks relevant to their work.

7. Reporting concerns

Any person aware of suspected modern slavery or human trafficking connected to Onesta operations or supply chain is encouraged to report it to ethics@onestabd.com or through the channels in the Whistleblower Policy. Reports are handled confidentially and without retaliation.

8. Continuous improvement

Onesta keeps its approach under review and will strengthen controls as understanding of risks evolves.

9. Approval

This Statement is approved by the board of directors of Onesta Food and Beverage Limited.
